In the February edition of Car Mechanics Magazine a test to find the best LED Inspection lamp was carried out. Ring Automotive's RIL2500 won Best Buy.

In the test the compact lamp achieved 19 out of 20, scoring full marks for performance with 14 out of 14.

In the article, the magazine particulay liked the fact the lamp produced a lot of light from only 15 LEDs, but yet was smaller enough to fit into your pocket or tool box.

This is the third award the RIL2500 has been awarded, following on from Classic and Sports Car Highly Commended and AutoExpresses Best Buy

RAC600 blows the competition away

Ring Automotive's multi award winning RAC600 digital air compressor received the Product Category Winner award for best Mini Air Compressor.

Having already won two Auto Express best buy's and three other magazine best buy awards this award is a fitting accolade for the RAC600.

The judges commented that they thought it was "a well thought out product. The gauge is accurate, with a choice of scales and presets to prevent over-inflation".

RAC150 keeps the pressure on

Ring Automotive really established itself as experts in tyre pressure technology with the RAC150 also claiming Product Winner award in the digital tyre gauge category.

Checking tyre pressure is an essential maintenance procedure. Correctly inflated tyres can save money on fuel and unnecessary tyre repairs. Optimum tyre pressure also provides optimum driving performance and road handling.

The RAC150 allows motorists to accurately check their tyre pressure before and after inflation. Auto Express were impressed with the overall package in the RAC150. There is a back lit display with four scales, red LED valve light and an easy-to-use built in tread depth gauge.

 

RSC4 smart charger commended

The final of four awards received by Ring Automotive on the night went to the RSC4 SmartCharger. It picked up the Product Commended award in the battery charger category
