Tyre Size Guide
Identifying the right tyre size for your car or motorcycle is simple, looking at the tyres on your vehicle you will see the size embossed on the sidewall of the tyre along with a raft of additional information. The tyre size will look something like the image below... Simply note down the size you need from your own tyres and input the figures into our 'Tyre Size Search' facility.

- Tyre manufacturers brand name
- Tyre pattern name or model code
- Tyre size (See Above)
- Load index and speed symbol (load index indicates the maximum weight the tyre can carry and the speed symbol shows the maximum speed for the tyre)
- ECE or EEC type approval number (all UK tyres must carry an E number)
- ECE noise approval
- North american recall code
- Date of manufacture code
- UTQG quality rating
- Maximum permitted load
- Maximum inflation pressure
- Tyre construction type (tubed or tubeless)
- Safety warning
- Direction of rotation (for directional tyres)
- Rim fitment instruction (for asymmetrical tyres)
- Denotes if the tyre is an Extra load or Reinforced tyre
- Position of tread wear indicators within the tyre tread
